Overall: 4.5/5 [dine in] The service was great, and the food came out in a timely manner. They have an extensive menu so we definitely need to come back to try their other items. Combo Banh Beo Nhan Kho and Uot ($12.95): You get 3 of the dried shrimp and 3 of the mixed toppings with chopped shrimp, pork, mushroom, fried shallots, and peanuts. Both were good but I liked the mixed toppings version a bit more. Usually banh beo is topped with fried pork fat but the dried shrimp one came with croutons instead which was very interesting and actually worked really well. You get a nice crispy and crunchy contrast with each bite. Banh Hoi Dac Biet ($24.95): Everything on this plate was delicious. I had never seen seafood paired with banh hoi before so this was a first for me. The seafood included squid and scallop and the grilled pork was nicely charred. The ground beef wrapped in grape leaves broke apart easily and was just okay but the sugarcane shrimp was my favorite of everything on the plate. Ca Phe Khoai Mon ($6): Wow the coffee is super strong. The ube foam was really good and paired well with the coffee without overpowering it. This definitely woke me up and I could not sleep that night after drinking just half of it at 6 PM. Tra Tac Thai Xanh ($5.50): Really good and tasted different from other places I have tried. The drink was a deep dark green color and the kumquat flavor came through even though you could not see any yellow color in it. Meal type: Dinner

Expect to wait 25 to 30 mins on a Saturday afternoon waiting to be seated, even though there were at least 4 open tables just unused since my arrival 30 mins prior to finally being seated. You will be wondering why the staff just ignores you only to come by to see who's next on the waiting list every once in a while. This isn't a situation where there's a big crowd of people. The food is great, but just be aware of the very long wait time. This isn't like your typing Vietnamese restaurant where you immediately get seated. The staff said they didn't have enough crew in the back to meet the demand. However, the situation wasn't like this restaurant was packed with customers. They need to do better with this and for that I can't rate them more than 3 stars Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

This is probably one of the few restaurants with a wife variety of authentic Vietnamese foods in Dallas area especially in Garland/Walnut Hills. Great location off S. Jupiter I came in for hot and comfy Chao Long (Vietnamese Congee) after a cold day. I would recommend all their soup noodle including Pho and Bun Bo. They also have Vietnamese crispy crepe (Bun Xeo) and street food Bun Dau Mam Tom with meats and shrimp paste. They also some snails dish and duck salad. The vibe is cool and young but the attraction are the hot pot and street Vietnamese food. The service was okay. The guy waiter (Son) was attentive and helpful with the menu and ordering choice for new customers. The female one was not good and ignored your question felt entitled. Seem they only answer customers that they have seated. The customer service can be improved for 5 stars. The price and menu are reasonable and easy to read. Will definitely be back with family to try their breakfast menu and appetizers. A decent for comfort warm food from Vietnamese kitchen.
