I want to thank Alexis, Jayda, and Kirk for a wonderful experience at Lucky Star (I'm sorry if I misspelled anyones name). From the time my friend and I got to the iconic red curtains, we knew this experience would be amazing. Alexis greeted us and was so friendly and warm and seated us at the bar for our Cocktail Omakase Experience. Kirk and Jayda were our mixologists for the evening and you could immediately tell the care, attention to detail, and passion they had for the cocktail creations. I enjoyed hearing the knowledge Kirk shared on how each cocktail was made as well as Jayda's experimental take on the tiki theme for her cocktail creation. We had the edamame, scallion pancakes, Sichuan Beef Dry Noodle and Three Cup chicken and topped it off with the Black Sesame Tang Yuan for dessert. Everything was delicious but I will keep coming back for the Sesame Tang Yuan alone. My favorites dishes were definitely scallion pancakes, Three Cup Chicken, and the Sesame Tang Yuan. I truly think Alexis, Jayda, and Kirk for an unforgettable experience and cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I'm sure everyone who works here is lovely but my friend and I had Alexis, Jayda, and Kirk for the night and so I want to give them their dues for creating a wonderful evening with great energy. My friends and I enjoyed Lucky Hour on a Friday night. It was easy to secure a reservation for 4 on open table. We enjoyed the dj spinning that night and watching a little soccer too. We enjoyed sharing the duck scallion pancakes and sausage sandwiches. I tried the martini flight and lemon pepper chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious!
