I drove across town and ate here for the first time because of the reviews on their version of an egg roll. I met the server and explained why I came and she kindly gave me a couple of recommendations for my "spicy" appetite. After ordering the General Chicken, I asked if they could make it extra spicy. The server said yes and left my table. The egg rolls were definitely awesome and the General Chicken was not as good as Canton Inn on Sunshine, but it was good. I received a refill for my water and then received my check. When I looked at the bill, I saw that I had been charged an upcharge for the "extra" spicy request. I have never been charged extra for an already advertised "spicy" dish to be made a little spicyer. They actually sprinkled crushed red pepper flakes (like the pizza places use) over the General Chicken and then charged me $2.00 for the additional condiment. That really didn't sit well with me. At least tell us before a ridiculous charge like this is added !!! I know in my line of work, this would not be allowed. Canton Inn is the Champion Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

First of all thank you for coming. We have never charge for asking extra spicy on your food unless your order hot oil($1)on the side. I think you might be confused with add combo to your General Chicken. Our general luch price is $9.30 if you want to add combo (1 Eggproll +2rangoon or 3 Rangoons), you have to pay $2 more.

Lucky Time is a hidden gem! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and every meal feels like a great value. Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants around—I highly recommend it!
