I've been told that Lucky Wishbone had the best fried chicken in Alaska/Anchorage. However, coming from the Caribbean, it is difficult to find really good fried chicken. My reasoning behind this is the fact that chicken isn't seasoned and then fried, which means the chicken ends up tasting bland. I did give them a 4 overall because the chicken wasn't bad. It's not my choice for the best chicken in Alaska. But the 2nd best isn't bad either. Their chicken blows away the big franchise chicken companies here miles away. Very tasty batter but bland meat taste. Large pieces of chicken, which was both good and bad, as for the smaller pieces, the tastiness of the batter flavored the meat itself. With the bigger pieces of chicken, there wasn't enough of the tasty batter to go around adding flavor to the flesh. All in all, it's not bad, but I wouldn't say the best.
