Looks like the owner sold this place. Name is no longer Lucky. Forgot the name. I see difference faces and the place sell groceries as well.

Be very aware of scamming. The employees are rude, once bad incidences happen, do not waste time arguing with them since you'll ended up being cursed at in Chinese. For whatever you purchase, especially lobsters and crabs, you'll be paying for the soaking wet seafood + a soaking wet paper bag + a plastic bag with some water at the bottom for whatever price the seafood is. Let's just say lobster, market price right now is $15/lb., I paid $15 for bags and dirty water. Wondering if my plants will grow lobster if I water them with that kind of water. It seems to me that they priority hiring con artists to work there.

Great service! Seafood has is truly fresh!  Lucky Seafood on 376 Eight Street. In Oakland China Town reminds me of the markets in Paris in the 70s,  the fish markets in San Francisco in the 70s and 80s and the many fabulous fish markets in fishing villages around the world. The service is great and while my Chinese isn't fabulous - well non existent - I point and show with my fingers how many and how big.  We get fresh salmon, lobster,  crab, Halibut,   Any truly fresh seafood that my heart desires.  Often the young man who is the son of the owner sits at the cash register.  He is lovely and charming and will discuss his beautiful baby girl - photos proudly displayed.  If you want a true California shopping experience - the best food, the best prices, lovely family style atmosphere - this is the place in the East Bay.  Check out the greens next door!  Same experience.  After shopping there three times we are recognized as "locals" which makes us feel at home even though we are Caucasian.
