I came here with my family of 9. We waiting 1.5 hours for our main courses. During that time, the waiters did not check on us once. When the food finally came, it was COLD. As a result, we had to send them back. When my they brought the dish back, it came back COLD AGAIN, and the pasta was undercooked. Absolutely unacceptable. On top of this, the alcoholic drinks that we ordered (specifically, the “star” drink) tasted alcohol-free. If you are paying 15F for a drink, you expect them to be putting at least a shot of alcohol inside. After all of this, they didn’t offer to make things right (ie, discount the final bill, free dishes, etc) would rate this a 1/10. If you are looking to come here for dinner, I would stop after this review and find somewhere else. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

8.5/10 Is it the best pizza in town? If you’re looking for a restaurant with great food to share laughs and a good meal, Luigia is the place. Centrally located in Basel, it offers high-quality ingredients that really stand out. I especially loved the pizza; the tomato sauce is perfect—present and flavorful without being overpowering. As a huge bonus, they have a dedicated kids' zone with a theatre and games, so you can actually enjoy your meal while the kids are entertained. Highly recommend this new spot. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: CHF 30–40 Vegetarian options: Great selection of Vegetarian options. Specially in pizza they have nailed it.
