We had a reservation at 11:00 AM based on the posted opening time. When we arrived, the staff told us they had just opened and made us feel as if we were at fault for being there at that time.

If the café is not fully ready to serve customers at 11:00 AM, it should not advertise that as its opening time. Customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable for arriving when the business says it is open.

I would also suggest providing additional customer service training to employees so they can communicate with guests in a more welcoming and respectful manner. Unfortunately, this experience left a disappointing first impression.

Saw a random reel about Luma so found out where it was and came by for a coffee. A very subtle entrance but once you find the door and go up the stairs and walk into the cafe you will be pleasantly surprised. A large area with lots of space and seating. I had a great cappuccino and a Za’atar cheese pizza that hit the spot. The decor is cool, the staff was great and cafe was very chill. A great find, especially to get out of the freezing cold. Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: The Za’atar cheese pizza was awesome.

We had a reservation and were unexpectedly asked to leave because the café claimed reservations are limited to 3 hours. This policy was not stated anywhere in the confirmation email, nor communicated beforehand. Being asked to leave mid-visit felt unprofessional and poorly handled. Policies like this must be clearly disclosed in advance. Very disappointing experience. Will never go again
