Our Girls on the Go DFW group had a beautiful time! Hosted 17 women for a mother daughter brunch and Andre was our server. He deserves a raise! He was attentive and kind. Super helpful. Food came out fast, fresh, and hot. Stephanie was amazing with helping us nail down the details and solidify the contract. I asked her a million questions and she never lost patience with me. And Angie (GM) was on site to ensure we were taken care of and all details were handled. Things went smoothly, the food was delicious and beautiful and the ladies had an amazing time. Thanks again, Lyla team! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hi Krystal! This review truly means so much to us!! It was such an honor hosting your Girls on the Go DFW Mother-Daughter brunch, and I’m beyond happy to hear the entire experience felt smooth, welcoming, and memorable for your group. Seeing 17 amazing women gathered together celebrating and enjoying themselves is exactly the kind of atmosphere we love creating at Lyla! André will be so happy to hear your kind words. His attentiveness and hospitality are truly special, and I’ll definitely be sharing this with him. Stephanie will also be thrilled to know all of her hard work and patience helped make the planning process stress free for you. Thank you again for trusting us with such a beautiful event and for your incredibly thoughtful words about our team. We absolutely loved having you all and cannot wait to welcome Girls on the Go DFW back again soon!!! Angie Ortiz General Manager Lyla Restaurant a.ortiz@igrouphospitality.com (469) 400-0932

This is a pretty brunch place in Dallas! As the reviews state, the spicy orecchiette is fantastic! We also got the frittata with breakfast potatoes. This felt like a pretty average breakfast dish. The lattes are really delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

It was my 1st time at Lyla, and we went on Mother’s Day and overall had a good experience. Our server was very nice and welcoming. We were a party of 5, including my 3-year-old daughter. My only complaint was the lack of kid-friendly options. Since it was Mother’s Day, I feel like the restaurant could expect families with children and should have included at least a small kids’ menu. When I made the reservation a week earlier, I saw spaghetti and pizza on their regular online menu for my daughter. Later, we found out they were only serving a special Mother’s Day menu which is thoughtful and sweet, but honestly there was nothing suitable for picky toddlers. I asked if they had a kids’ menu or if they could make simple modifications from their regular menu, but the server said no and asked us to choose only from the special menu. However, the server recommended the spicy orecchiette and made me aware that it could be spicy for kids but I do not have any other options. It was part of the full $55 set menu where I had to choose it as my main course. I ordered it hoping my daughter and I could share, since ordering a separate $55 meal just for her didn’t make sense. The fries and dessert my daughter had were also part of the same set menu as the appetizer and dessert options. So basically, I ended up choosing everything from the menu that I thought might be suitable for her because I had to feed her something. But since she’s picky, she barely ate any of it and only had a few fries, a couple sips of juice, and a small portion of dessert. After seeing their regular menu beforehand, I think it would have been much better if they had at least kept simple kid-friendly options or simple modifications from the regular menu available for families on Mother’s Day. Price per person: $70–80

Hi Oshin, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such thoughtful and detailed feedback. I truly appreciate you spending Mother’s Day with us, and I’m happy to hear your overall experience and service were positive. At the same time, I completely understand your frustration regarding the limited kid-friendly options during our Mother’s Day prix fixe menu. As a parent dining with a young child, you should not have felt stressed trying to piece together a meal your daughter could enjoy, especially after seeing different menu options available beforehand. Your feedback is completely valid, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment this caused during what should have been a relaxed family celebration. Special holiday menus are designed to create a unique experience, but your comments are a very important reminder that we also need to better accommodate families with small children during those events. I truly appreciate you sharing this perspective so thoughtfully. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you and your family back again in the future for a smoother and more enjoyable experience for everyone at the table Angie Ortiz General Manager Lyla Restaurant a.ortiz@igrouphospitality.com (469) 400-0932
