Perhaps the loud music and less than stellar service led to this review. I like the taste in music but it was way too loud. One would expect to talk to fellow dinners while eating. It was a busy time for brunch, but over 10 minutes waiting to come to the table to take orders seems like a stretch. Only two of the four food items we ordered were worth coming back for. We had the omelet with goat cheese, steak and eggs, short rib hash, and burger. The omelet was bland. Steak with the chimichurri sauce was sublime. The burger tasted pretty good. And the hash was way too greasy. My litmus test was my stomach. But in the end, it was not too bad of any experience. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I am appalled by the way Lyle's treats their costumers. This is my second time dining there, and both times they have treated me in an extremely unkind, unprofessional, and discriminatory way because I am disabled with a service dog. The first time I assumed that perhaps I caught the staff on an off day, but this time I am truly astonished by the way I was treated and spoken to. My grandma was visiting for the weekend and I wanted to take her to a nice brunch. As soon as we arrived they tried to seat us on a bench at a low coffee table outside of the restaurant. When I asked if we could sit in the dining room with the other guests, particularly because my grandmother cannot bend down to eat an entire brunch off of a coffee table, they told me service dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. I calmly explained that my dog is a service dog trained to keep me safe medically and his accompanying me into the restaurant is protected by federal law. The manager came over to tell me that they could not seat us in the dining room but would allow us to sit in the corner of the bar and there was simply no other solution because this is their policy for all dogs regardless of whether they are service dogs or not. She said that "at least they were letting me in the restaurant." You are not doing a disabled person a favor by "letting them in" an establishment with their legally protected means of staying safe medically. Our server did his best to make up for the way the hostess and manager spoke to us, and I am grateful for his kindness, but I will never be returning to the restaurant or recommending it to anyone.
