The izakaya is not easy to locate, it is in the small alley at the end up a narrow staircase on the second floor. The interior is cosy and has roughly 8 seats. We wanted an authentic izakaya experience and we did not know English so we just went with chef choice. I would have preferred the items to have more char to it, especially the chicken skin. We also asked for a sashimi and it is probably the most intimidating plate of sashimi I’ve ever had. Beer was delicious, freshly poured. Overall, a cool experience.
