Since I came all the way to Ise, I wanted to eat Ise udon, and I wanted to go to a restaurant frequented by locals rather than just tourists, so I went to the long-established Mameya. First time eating Ise udon! Udon noodles that are addictive. I like firm udon noodles, but I also thought it would be nice to eat Ise udon noodles with their soft, rich sauce. Although it was a weekday night, there were quite a few customers.
