I have been to the one in Osaka and found out that they have a location in Tokyo and we went there twice in a week and absolutely the best Masa Soba noodles I’ve ever had. A must try in Shibuya we walked an hour twice but Uber back. A+ Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I visited Soba MAREN in Shibuya, Tokyo, and tried the seafood ramen. I was met with an extraordinary flavor experience. During my 3-month trip to Japan, it was one of the most memorable dishes that stayed on my palate, and I will definitely visit this place again on my next trip to Japan. I had a great experience at soba MAREN Shibuya. It’s a small, cozy shop primarily featuring counter seating, with just two tiny tables that fit about 2-3 people each. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Ordering & Menu: The ordering process is quick and modern via a vending machine outside—just note that it is cashless only. While their signature dish is the soy sauce mazemen (soy-based sauce with chashu and an egg yolk), the menu focuses on high-quality, soupless maze soba. The Food: I tried the chicken shio maze-men, and it was excellent. The bowl came with: Noodles: Thick, chewy, and cooked to perfection. Toppings: Generous, juicy slices of chicken breast and tender chashu. The Highlight: A unique "pink ball" of minced chicken mixed with shiso, plus tiny cubes of bamboo shoots that provided a wonderful textural contrast. The Sauce: A delicious base finished with a vibrant green oil. The noodles were truly the standout. I’ll definitely be coming back again! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
