This was my second visit to Matkim since their opening night, and it was just as impressive as the first. The menu has evolved regularly, and this latest tasting menu, inspired by Korea’s eight provinces, was a delightful experience. From seafood to meat dishes, every course was beautifully executed and thoughtfully presented. The team provided kind and detailed explanations of each dish, which helped showcase the stories and traditions behind Korean cuisine. The flavors felt authentic while elevating Korean food to a refined and contemporary level. It’s wonderful to see Korean cuisine being celebrated and elevated in such a thoughtful way. Keep honoring the roots of Korean food while continuing to push it forward. Highly recommend, if you are looking for special experiences Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Jacob took us on a journey to the Korea through his dedicatedly sourced ingredient. Menu is curated in delivering the true flavour of the ingredient. And this is one list of dishes that will get you filled and walkable with a full belly. 4.5/5 overall I should have came in skipping the days meal :) One seating per night only and takes 4 weeks in advance booking to secure a seat so plan on it earlier .
