Went to Maybe Sammy and tried the Terra Nova, and it was such a cool cocktail. The smoky mezcal flavour really stood out, and I wasn’t expecting the combination of flavours to work as well as it did. The presentation was probably my favourite part. Definitely one of the more memorable cocktails I’ve had in Sydney, and the bartenders made the experience even better.

Amazing place with friendly service and interesting menu design. Beef tartare was tasty and beyond expectation. Will come again with friends. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $40–60

There’s a reason why Maybe Sammy is recognised among the best bars in the world. First-class signature cocktails and a great show from the bar staff. What impressed me most, though, was the impeccable service quietly happening on the floor. Mark, who looked after us, seemed to scan the entire room with incredible awareness, while interacting with guests in such a subtle and natural way. He even gave me a bit of a Richie-from-The Bear vibe! A special mention to Sarah as well for the warm welcome and excellent hospitality. An outstanding experience from both the bar and FOH staff. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
