Wow!!!! I came in with my son at 2035 to order dinner for my family. My son really wanted lasagna, but "No pasta after 2100." I didn't bother to point out the time. However, he noticed and it changed to, "No pasta after 2030." My daughter wanted salmon fettuccine. But...of course, it was after 2100, I mean 2030. So she decided to have the salmon salad, but, "No salads." He noticed the look of incredulous unbelief and surprise and said he would make the salad. My wife wanted a bacon cheeseburger as a meal with fries and drink. I did also. So, the order w was for two bacon cheeseburgers, two fries, and two drinks with the salmon salad. This, all being worked out with my wife and daughter via texting back and forth. They present the food all nicely wrapped up and ready to go in a bag. I noticed the bag had one thing wrapped and one tin with what looked like it would be the salad. I asked about the order and was told that it consisted of one bacon cheeseburger, one order of fries and one salmon salad. Look above for the expression on my face. I paid the check, which came to just under 29 euros, and brought the food home, at wich time I found....one bacon cheeseburger, one order of fries, and....no salad. Moral of the review, there are many places to eat in Rome, including a very nice pizza place right next door to Mera's, and I would offer my strongest encouragement to go there for good food and even better service. My wife ate the bacon cheeseburger, and fries as they had already left a terrible taste in my mouth, and in all fairness, she said it was good. It's just not worth almost 29 euros for a 16 euro meal. Went in because it was close to where we were staying and I still had not tried the pizza in Rome. They look like they were closing even though the hours posted on Google said 10 pm I believe. They did not have four of the appetizers on the menu. I was not impressed with the Pizzas ( I have had better frozen pizzas back home)or the service. They served us the food and did not bring us the bottle of water I asked for, I had to go in and ask for it. Overall, this was the worst restaurant we went to. All the others were excellent. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
