Black Fashion Museum can be on your route by default, the guests' piece of advice is to visit this restaurant. If you're Vegetarian and Vegan cuisine lover, come here. Tasty mushroom soup, bean soup and seasonal soup might be what you need. It's a pleasant experience to taste good chocolate cakes, chocolate custard and ice cream. Here you may have delicious wine or good champagne. It's time to degustate great chocolate frappe or delicious coffee.
The atmosphere of hospitality of MITA highly depends on the staff, that is efficient here. If you want to enjoy spectacular service, you should go to this place. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are attractive. There is a calm atmosphere and lovely decor at this spot. It's a Michelin one-star restaurant, this award is usually given for providing tasty food.

For a nearly $1,000 meal, this was the most disappointing Michelin-starred dining experience we’ve had. We visited to celebrate my parents’ 25th anniversary and selected the La Herencia menu, the restaurant’s most expensive tasting menu. Despite calling ahead to let the restaurant know about the anniversary, we still waited roughly 30 minutes for our reserved table (even after already arriving 10 minutes late). Also concerning, we observed roaches near our table during service. Though they did take care of it, still worth noting. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for it. One course was so salty it was nearly inedible. The asparagus dish’s sauce felt completely disconnected from the plate. The tamale course was extremely dry, and the flavors did not work together. Even the welcome beverage served at the end of the little bites course was unpleasant enough that multiple people at our table could not finish it. Several courses were left unfinished, not because we were full, but because we simply did not enjoy them. The bread course and onion tart were the highlights of the meal and the presentation and explanations were clear and interesting. The staff were generally pleasant, though the service experience overall was impacted by the lengthy wait despite having a reservation. For a restaurant at this price point, and after choosing the restaurant’s most premium tasting menu, the positives were not enough to overcome the numerous issues we experienced. Having now dined at every Michelin-starred restaurant in DC, this was our least favorite by a significant margin and the only one that left us questioning whether the experience matched Michelin-star expectations. Highly recommend Albi or Rania for a similar priced much better experience. Price per person: $100+ Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

The Latin-inspired, vegetarian tasting menu was perfect for celebrating the 40th birthday of one of our party and for introducing 3 members to the concept of a tasting menu. High praise for the delightful contrast of textures, flavors of each one of the courses. Each was a surprise and fascinating. The servers, bartender, and staff were knowledgeable and fun. The kitchen staff was beaming when I asked to take their photo. I could tell that all the staff takes pride in their service. I also liked that the restaurant sound level was perfect. We could have a private conversation and the background was merely a murmur. Excellent restaurant design. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Incredible. I've been twice and it has been incredible both times. The second time I went I wasn't feeling well (unrelated to Mita obviously) and about halfway thru I couldn't keep going with the tasting menu and they were EXTREMELY accommodating and professional. The food is the most delicious food in the world and the staff is so high level good at their jobs. You can only love this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
