We came in for Mother’s Day and since we walked in, we were greeted so warmly by the owner. We had some calamari, lambs with mash potatoes and greens, a chicken and corn appetizer, shrimp with Mac and cheese, and the fish sandwich. The food was so good, full of flavor and the music was a whole vibe. A mix of old school with the new. Definitely a spot to have a chill, comfortable vibe. Such a sweet way to spend Mother’s Day. My coworker recommended MK’s Restaurant to me, so I stopped by to try their food—and it was absolutely amazing! I had an event the very next day and already had another restaurant lined up to cater. However, after tasting MK’s food, I immediately called to see if they could cater lunch for me at 11:30 a.m.—and to my surprise, they were able to take the order last minute. I hired MK’s to cater a retirement party at my job for over 50 people, and I could not be more pleased. We ordered mac & cheese, white rice with beans, yellow rice with vegetables, chicken wings, ribs, grilled shrimp, mushrooms with onions, penne alla vodka, rasta pasta, and garlic bread. Every single dish was incredible! The staff were extremely friendly and professional. They arrived 30 minutes early with the food hot and ready, not just to deliver—but also to help set up, which we didn’t expect. The setup was beautifully decorated, adding an extra special touch. Now back to the food: the ribs were so tender they fell right off the bone, the mushrooms were full of flavor, the mac & cheese was cheesy and perfectly seasoned—honestly, every dish was seasoned to perfection. I would rate MK’s Restaurant 100 out of 10! If you’re planning an event, or even if you’re just craving a good, home-cooked meal that tastes like your grandmother made it, stop by MK’s.
