Well it was good but the customer service was poor they were very dull and not looking like they were enjoying their job which brought down morale as me as a customer trying to be coming happy trying a new place and I get met by just dull Hi how are you in behind their eyes like I hate my job add a just been nice to see better happier customer service. We walked into MOD to get our girls their free pizzas for their reading awards and also had a valid buy-one-get-one-free coupon. The two young ladies who initially helped us were very friendly and assisted us with placing our order and walked us through the process of what qualifies for each coupon. When it was time to check out, Diego told us we could not use the kids’ reading coupons along with the BOGO coupon. We completely understood and offered to simply pay separately—my husband would pay for one order and I would pay for the other. Diego then told us we still couldn’t do that because we walked in together as “one party.” How does that make sense? We are two adults, with two separate forms of payment, willing to make two separate transactions. Rather than allow us to complete the second purchase using a valid coupon, the order was cancelled—even though the food had already been made. Diego simply said “okay” and cancelled it. What was most disappointing was watching a business choose to waste food rather than allow two paying customers to complete separate transactions and use a valid coupon. What makes this even more upsetting is knowing how many people and families struggle with food insecurity every day, yet perfectly good food was apparently going to be thrown away. In today’s economy, hardworking families are looking for ways to save wherever they can, and promotions like these matter. I left extremely disappointed—not only with how Diego handled the situation, but with MOD if this truly represents company policy. A little flexibility, common sense, and customer service would have gone a long way. Food: 1 Service: 1
