Lovely place to stay and eat. Morning coffee and conversations with staff / owner - very insightful and welcoming. Highly recommend to all. Reading some of the low reviews on this place, people are so harsh sometimes.. this place is truly special and the design and architecture tops it of. Well done Mond. Service: 5

We absolutely loved our stay at Mond in Hiriketiya. Everything about this place is special. The team is incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The view is simply stunning and the design of the space is beautiful: thoughtful, calming and inspiring. The food deserves a special mention: honestly some of the best we've had in Sri Lanka. The breakfasts are exceptional, the dinners are delicious and the coffee is truly outstanding. We even left with a ceramic piece from Studio Mond, which makes the experience feel even more memorable. We came here for dinner, such fabulous food and great outlook. Honestly one of the best meals we have had since being here. More western menu but done really well with a bit of a local twist. Highly recommend, also go early for the water views and drinks Service: 5
