The valet entrance is a little obscure, so you might miss it if you aren’t paying attention. Inside, the layout is impressively spacious. There’s a massive, floor-to-ceiling wine display in the center that acts as a divider—one side is dimly lit and hip, while the other is much brighter. We grabbed a table in the bright section with my parents, and I really appreciated the wide spacing between tables; you don’t feel like you’re eating with your neighbors. The wine system is solid: you buy a bottle at the shop and just pay a glass fee. It’s a reasonable setup, and the sommelier was helpful with decanting. The food is tasty, but the value calculation is tricky. Portions are tiny and prices are steep—it feels like the money you save on corkage is just hidden in the food cost. It took six dishes and a dessert to get four adults to a baseline "not hungry" state. Ironically, the Sundubu-jjigae was the highlight; the broth had a deep, rich color and a depth of flavor that beat out the fancier plates. Price per person: ₩40,000–50,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Somewhat hidden out of the way under a hotel, MOWa is a cool spot to maneuver a wine tasting evening. Yes you can get food but I'd say focus your moolah on selecting a few choice bottles of wine and sipping from glasses of those chosen. Somewhat of a choose your own adventure if you wish. Walk down the tunnel and travel across the regions/varieties/prices of the world. A fun evening. [Can get expensive if you wish to do so, again your choice] Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
