This by far has been the worst experience. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get my food. I attempted to pick up my online order. No soon as I attempted to walk in the restaurant a dog starting running towards me. I am terrified of dogs. I would've never expected to walk inside a restaurant and experience this. I called the restaurant the same day regarding the matter. However, there was a language barrier. So I called the next day and spoke with Marina who initially told me to contact menustar. I explained to her that there was no contact information for them since they only took the order and provided a receipt. I was told that she would get back with me in a couple of days. It's been over a week and I have heard nothing! As a business, if you use a service and want customers to order online, why would the customer be expected to jump through impossible hurdles? It's not my responsibility to track down a 3rd party ordering system that your company chose! I didn't have any information to contact them. Also, Everyone isn't ok with dogs running towards them in a restaurant! It's simply unsanitary to have an animal roaming around a restaurant like that. I just requested a refund. That's all. I was not provided with my food because of the circumstances I was placed in. Please refund me my money! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We had a plate for 2 which included chicken, sausage, ribs, and onions, 1 rice, 1 beans, and tortillas. Definitely was enough for 2 people no problem! It all came out hot and fresh super delicious. Chicken was juicy as well. Pricing was reasonable, not anything crazy. Originally came in because I really wanted to try their carne asada and unfortunately didn’t haven’t any so that was a little disappointing. Would still try again because I live close by and the food was great! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a small place so not much room for large guests.. Place is clean but very minimal in the bathroom Dept. Incredible that this place has no ice for drinks, prices are standard but was disappointed they couldn't even offer a side of beans as part of the combo for 1 person; only rice is thrown in with the order.. Other places will give you beans and rice for the same price that Mr. Rico's charges you.. The food overall is ok, it's definitely not bad and worth going to for a fast lunch; but their might be better options close by. I would have given it a 4 star rating but the bathroom was something out of a third world country.
