I am torn about writing this review. On one hand I want this place to do well, but at the same time I want it to remain a local secret. Muraya is a fantastic spot! A mix of local hippies, Kyoto U students, the occasional professor and other random folks that find their way here give Muraya a friendly atmosphere where you can talk to a stranger at ease and make a new acquaintance in no time. Drinks and food are very reasonably priced, and the bathroom is a riot!There are other great secrets about this place, but you should come and figure them out on your own. Cheers!
