If you’re in Melbourne and craving authentic South Indian flavours, Maaplas is definitely one to bookmark! We started with the crispy potato bajji and golden punugulu — perfectly crunchy and so satisfying. The mini sambar idlies were soft, fluffy, and soaked beautifully in rich, flavourful sambar (comfort in every bite!). The chilli onion rava dosa was beautifully crisp with generous toppings, and the paneer 65 had that bold, spicy kick that keeps you going back for more. Everything tasted fresh, well-balanced, and made with care. As content creators, we also loved how vibrant and inviting the dishes looked — from the golden dosas to the colourful chutneys. The presentation made it even more enjoyable to capture and share. The space has a simple, welcoming vibe — perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends.
