After seeing Kobe City Museum of Literature, it may be a good idea to visit this restaurant. Here you can find the Japanese cuisine. You can try nicely cooked okonomiyaki, spicy chicken and oysters. Come to Macky for good beer.
The warm atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. Most guests point out that the staff is nice. The enjoyable service shows a high level of quality at this spot. 4.9 is what this restaurant got from the Google rating system.

Visited shortly with friend between checking out the zoo and gallery. Had few beers and okonomiyaki. My first experience with this food and it was delicious. Atmosphere was very nice, place has a lot of art inside and the chef was really nice and friendly. As were tourists that cant really speek japanese, we had a nice small talk in english. Definitely reccomend visiting.

Went for the octopus okonomiyaki and came back later to try the Macky’s Chicken plate. The okonomiyaki was served on a hot stone plate and was the perfect size for a small meal. Definitely one of the best okonomiyaki I’ve had and there are plenty of different versions you can try. The Macky’s Chicken plate is a Jamaican-inspired chicken on rice dish. Very reminiscent of American taco rice but with some extra heat from the spicy sauce. Both plates I would highly recommend and for a hungry diner, maybe get two! The owner was a very friendly man and very welcoming to non-Japanese speakers. The inside is quite small, so its best for groups of 4 maximum (this will likely fill the entire restaurant).
