Great bread, poor customer service. Won't slice the loaf. Even though I live 2 blocks away, I walk to the market and buy my bread at 3 sisters, always happy to slice.
I tried their orange scone and I have to say that they are good, but nothing special. Also, I think 4 dollars for a scone is a bit too expensive. I might try one more time in the morning when there are more selections than when I went after work.
Super nice staff, great breads and baked products, solid coffee, BUT sandwiches are hit and miss. I really like the brioche egg sandwich but they run out by 9 or 10am every Saturday/Sunday! Why not just get a couple more? Also their 'Carne' sandwich leaves a lot to be desired - as in where is the carne?? The sandwich comes on good thick bread loaded up with flavored spread, some onions a bit of cheese and one single wimpy price of roast beef. Come on - that's not a sandwich, is a buttered up loaf with some meat for flavor.
