The food is excellent and always fresh. What I like most about this restaurant is if you have anything special that you want prepared by the chef? Call ahead, give them enough time, and they can usually accommodate whatever you'd like. Good for families also. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Chicken Piccata, Carbonara, Calamari, Baked Meat Ravioli with Extra Mozz, Spaghetti Carbonara

A meal at Made in Italy Trattoria is an pleasant experience overall, but I have mixed feelings on the food. Outside and inside this little restaurant exudes Italian cuteness, however I think sitting inside would be a slightly more pleasant experience. We were seated outside on a beautiful night but the car and train traffic ruins a bit of the atmosphere. The level of service remained high throughout the meal, providing the perfect amount of attentiveness. Additionally, the drinks and food were delivered quickly each time, and with a smile! The food, however, left me with a bit to be desired. We started with the calamari, which was tasty!, before moving onto our entrees. The gnocchi was absolutely incredible. The papardelle bolognese, however, completely disappointed due to the sole fact that the sauce added little flavor and only served to water down the dish. As you can imagine, we took home leftovers of one but not the other (as their portions are sizable). I'm left torn on this spot. Perhaps I simply ordered the wrong thing? It might be worth a return visit as I'll try anything twice.
