I went here for Iftar today and honestly, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. The drinks served were absolutely terrible. The desserts were even worse the gulab jamun was watery and tasteless, and the fruits tasted spoiled and not fresh at all. The custard had a strange taste, almost like it had gone bad. It was very unpleasant. The biryani and butter chicken were slightly okay, but definitely not worth the price. Paying Rs. 3500 for food of this quality feels like a complete waste of money. It’s especially upsetting during Ramadan, when people look forward to breaking their fast in a clean and pleasant place with good food. Charging this amount and serving food like this is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place for Iftar.

I recently visited Madras Masala in Colombo and had a very satisfying experience. I ordered the chicken biryani, and it was absolutely delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked, aromatic, and well-balanced with spices, while the chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The portion size was generous and worth the price. The ambience was pleasant, and the service was quick and polite, making the overall dining experience enjoyable. If you’re someone who enjoys authentic South Indian flavors with rich taste, Madras Masala is definitely worth visiting again.
