I was super excited when I heard that someone had bought the palace cafe and that our restaurant would open again as I usually order a breakfast to go 2 to 3 times a week and sometimes a dinner to go. The first meal I ordered was a BLT and was shocked to see the size of it when I got it home. The BLT was made on the tiny little square sandwich bread instead the normal size bread. I let that go and just sucked it as I guess I just don't order a BLT from there anymore and have not ordered a dinner since then but I have ordered several breakfasts since then and was a bit surprised that they only serve one slice of toast with their breakfasts instead of two pieces which is traditionally what you receive at other restaurants but hey no big deal I let that slide also. Today was a different story all together. I've always been a bit put off by their lack of friendliness when ordering and picking up my food but today really topped the charts and motivated me to actually write the first review that I've ever wrote regarding any place of business. I called in the order for my breakfast, that is always the same everytime. Two eggs over medium, hash browns, sour dough toast and bacon extra, extra crispy, burn it if you have to but nothing limp. I got home with my breakfast and it was missing the hash browns but I was charged the price for the whole order. I immediately called them to let them know and I was argued with the phone that I had ordered something different than what I really did order and then I said that they will need to remake the eggs as well because I don't want to eat cold eggs with my breakfast but that I'd let the bacon slide and deal with that. First she acted like that was strange that I wouldn't want to eat cold eggs with my breakfast and then she rudely told me to bring the whole thing back and that they would just remake it and so I did. I was sitting out front in my vehicle getting ready to go in and exchange my breakfast and the waitress brought out the new one to me and swapped it out for me, which was a kind gesture, but she was extremely rude yet again. I guess I would expect some sort of, I'm sorry for your inconvenience but nothing said at all. I did say to her that I was taken back by her attitude towards me for her mistake and the fact that I was one that was inconvenienced by it but she just walked away and back into the restaurant. I have never had a person in a customer service field act so rudely to me like that. Actually arguing with me about what I know I clearly ordered and paid for and acting like I was out of line for requesting a hot meal and what I had paide for. I must say the previous owners of the palace cafe might have had their little quirks but the service and employees were always super friendly. I have no problem driving to the Loons Nest in Vergas to pick up my breakfasts again like I had to before Mae's opened up. They are personable and extremely friendly at the Loons Neat. Even referring to me by name after my continuous breakfast orders just like they did when Palace Cafe was in operation. It's what you come to expect in a small town friendly business unlike Mae's Cafe. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20

Food was amazing little man gave it 100 star review we will definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Kid-friendliness: They even let Caleb meet the cook and gave him free ice cream
