Magic Hour, located on Miyasaka in Setagaya, is a quaint spot for those who enjoy Japanese cuisine in a relaxed and cozy setting. Known for its appeal during lunch and dinner hours, the restaurant offers a variety of small plates and quick bites, making it perfect for both solo diners and groups. Despite a comprehensive selection of drinks that includes beer, spirits, wine, and cocktails, you might find taking a peek at their versatile menu worth your time.
The restaurant operates throughout the week, with doors opening at 5 PM from Monday to Saturday, and slightly earlier at 3 PM on Sundays. It seems to be versatile, catering to friends lounging together or a solitary dining experience, although it's important to note the absence of certain accessibility features like a wheelchair-accessible entrance and seating. Unique offerings such as "choose-your-own" side dishes add a playful element to the meal, appreciated by frequent patrons.
Reservations are possible, which might be necessary given its perceived popularity despite comments suggesting long waits possibly due to being operated by single-person management. While the inside atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with options for traditional set meals and an extensive drink list, recent visitor feedback hasn't been forthcoming. Whether you're in search of a new dining experience or simply craving some Japanese culinary staples, Magic Hour could be a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
