I visited Mahal Antep recently mainly to try the künefe. First the place looks amazing, really nice decorations and very clean. I was led to sit in the terrace, and there is an elevator that takes you there. It was nice to sit there but I wouldn't recommend it when it is very hot cause you don't always get nice breeze there and it would have been more pleasant to sit inside with AC on in summer. Their menu is amazing and makes you wanna try everything especially the great types of künefe they have. I went for the grain pistachio one, not cheap at 950 TL for 1 person, but it was really covered in pistachios. I liked it, but for me it was so sweet, I honestly couldn't finish it. I wasn't used to künefe being that sweet especially grain pistachio one. The flavour was nice still. They serve it with pieces of banana, and apples, and some pistachios as well, and some roasted nuts. The service was a bit slow but the place was absolutely packed. Before your order künefe make sure you check the portion size, some are for 2 people or more and not for 1 person. Overall, a great place to visit and have dessert and a clear high recommendation. If you also wanna buy baklava, then this would be an excellent choice. I only tried the künefe, but it was totally worth it. They also offer other traditional Turkish foods as well. From the rooftop seats you can see the Galataport. They make the künefe fresh, that’s why you have to wait around 20 minutes for them to bring it out. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other Price per person: ₺600–800
