Very disgusting food I ordered chicken biriani rice and nan as I love authentic Indian food, the food was delivered to me it was oily flavor less with boned chucks of chicken the worst I’ve ever had in my life! When I complained they tried to credit me with another nan bread instead of a refund or another meal. Very disappointing customer service and support was nonsense don’t buy! Don’t be fooled by the fancy seated setting. This is an affordable place to have very good Indian food. You can have anything from a full course menu to Indian street food, which I had today. Delicious Vada Pav and Chicken Kathi rolls (Pictured) Meal type: Brunch Price per person: GH₵100–150 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Vegetarian food is prominent. I had a very disappointing experience with Maharaja Restaurant, Melcom Spintex Road. I ordered the “Maharaja Special Mutton Biryani,” expecting it to be flavorful, but unfortunately it was completely tasteless. The delivery experience was also very poor. Even though I live less than 1 km away, the restaurant asked for a very high delivery fee. To avoid this, I arranged my own Uber rider for GHC 19, but when he reached the restaurant, they kept him waiting for more than 30 minutes. Because of the delay, I ended up paying GHC 40. When I called to complain, the staff and even the chef responded casually, saying only that “they will improve next time.” There was no apology, no offer of replacement, and no respect for customer feedback. The following day I even returned the food to the restaurant, but they simply kept it and never got back to me regarding a refund. This level of service and food quality is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant with such a name and reputation. I hope the management seriously looks into improving both the taste of their dishes and the way they treat customers. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
