The chef at this restaurant cooks good blt, chicken salads and chicken salad sandwiches. You will try tasty pancakes. The whole impression won't be complete without beer that is delicious here.
There is a lovely view from Maine Local Market. The charming atmosphere meets you at this place. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.8.

I think they're closed at this site. We had a huge flood in Hallowell on 12/18, but I believe they were done well in advance of that natural disaster event. They seemed to have shut down operations several months ago and kept inconsistent hours and products availability for much of their time downtown. The restaurant food was good but it was frustrating to not be able to purchase basic produce, bread, cheese, etc. which was originally intent of market I thought. I wish them well wherever they end up.

This is the best restaurant on the Kennebec. The food is outstanding. The Mediterranean sandwich may be the best sandwich I’ve ever had. So deliciousq. Prepared by kind-hearted staff who know and care about good food. The view of the river from the bar is the best of any restaurant on Water Street in Augusta/Hallowell/Gardiner. Bald eagle citing a from here are common. Very comfortable - not at all pretentious. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If I could give 6 stars for service, I would! The farm-to-table attitude carries over in the friendly kitchen attitude; with fresh ingredients, freshly made. We had a stunning buffalo wrap and a simple caesar salad, with fresh made bread turned into fresher made croutons. We also grabbed cookies to go. On a quiet and rainy Friday, this riverside spot was a warm welcome, and one we hope to return to on our next trip to Maine. From considerate chefs to engaging owners, it’s a shining star of the delightful downtown!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
