It has changed a lot over the last few years. Either I don't understand anything, or the pastries are really pathetic. Bread is fine. But is that a croissant or a joke? Never seen this small and frankly not good , especially for the price. We live right next door and each time we try to give it another chance, but no. The Maison Fondeur bakery and pastry shop is a must in Meudon Val Fleury. We find there : - breads with various flours, mostly organic; - pastries with a subtle sugar-fat balance; - sandwiches and ready-made meals that elevate the lunch break to the level of a gastronomic experience. Each recipe is patiently developed with well-chosen products, from the apple in the tatin to the salmon in the club sandwiches. Quality has a price and with Maison Fondeur we are at the level of Georges V, Fauchon or Cyril Lignac for quality! Right now (end of January 2024) There is still time to taste the incredible galettes des rois. Our favorite is the one delicately flavored with orange: crisp, light, it takes you on a journey to the Mediterranean! In short, head to Maison Fondeur! And thank you to the chef and the whole team.
