Boutique toujours aussi agréable, beaucoup de choix ,possibilité de prendre un thé ou cafe a l'étage ambiance top produit tres bon rien a redire. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other Price per person: €1–10

After ten years, I returned to La Rochelle and discovered Maison Merling. A bit like Malongo, this establishment makes us want to stay there with the bright space upstairs and its old touch in the shop downstairs. Upstairs, moreover, a tea room is open for all coffee and tea lovers. Even hot chocolates are offered at much cheaper prices than at Café de la Paix. If you want to take away, only bottled fruit juices can be taken away. In any case, an excellent address that I highly recommend if you like to spend a tourist day in La Rochelle.
