My wife Reeman and I celebrated my birthday at Majora, and it was honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in town. The food, the ambiance, and the overall atmosphere are just unbelievable—truly a one-of-a-kind spot. I have to give a special thank you to Yazeed. His genuine, unbelievable service really made the night. He went completely above and beyond by taking us on a tour of the guest kitchen and introducing us to the owner and Chef Jonas. That personal touch made the celebration unforgettable. A big thank you to Zaid as well for his great service and attention to detail throughout the evening. The hospitality here is on another level. Majöra; An Unforgettable Amman Dining Experience We visited Majöra as a family and kicked off the evening with extraordinary delights that set the mood for what followed. The lantern cocktail arrived in a smoky blanket, creating a dramatic and welcoming entrance. The spicy pineapple margarita with a green chili frozen in the ice was deliciously bold, and a well-made dirty shaken vodka martini impressed with its crispness. The basil spritz and the green light mocktail offered refreshing contrasts, making for a fantastic start to the night. The food felt Michelin-starred, exquisite from start to finish. We practically ordered nearly the entire menu, and every dish surpassed the last, a true masterclass in flavor and presentation. Compliments to the chef for crafting such a culinary delight. Top highlights included the Kimchi Dip and the Tuna Poke as the star appetizer, followed by the cured sea bream. Among the hot dishes, the JFC stood out, and the bone marrow became a family favorite we’ll order on every visit. The Thai Curry Shrimp impressed with its depth of flavor, and the garlic noodles were delicious and perfectly balanced. The beef shin falafel was highly creative and wonderful, but the Beef Tenderloin Skewers topped the hot-dish lineup. A superb pairing with Casal Garcia Vinho Verde Branco enhanced the whole experience. Desert was the perfect ending to the night, with the ZAATAR Crème Brûlée delivering crazy-creative goodness and the banana cream pie sealing the meal beautifully. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, with good music that kept the energy lively. Mustafa provided outstanding service. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. The manager stopped by our table, courteous and attentive to our needs. Majöra truly elevates Amman’s dining scene to bold, gutsy heights and delivers delights that linger in memory.
