We ordered through the phone but when my bf waited in line to pick up the order they didn't have our order at all. The manager discovered the employee who took the call never inputted our order in the system (just wrote it on a notepad). We were told otp it was gonna be a 15 minute wait but that quickly turned into 1 hr+. There were a lot of people there so it was busy and ordering on the phone for pickup prior should've helped with that wait. The food came out meh but yea I just think they should've pushed our order to the top of the queue since it was their fault for not putting it into the system. It's just frustrating. We got the 808 mixed super bbq plate and the crispy lechon bowl. The food came out cold which is shocking given the wait. The rice was the only thing hot. The pork ribs were very dry but the rest of the bbq was ok. The mac salad has room for improvement its pretty bland. The calamansi refresher has green tea which made it a little bitter and we didn't like it. It just was too sweet and had bitter notes so overall a confusing drink. They didnt state the green tea in the menu nor over the phone when I called it calamansi juice. The lechon is okay. Just disappointed with the service and the food overall. If you want AUTHENTIC Hawaiian food, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!! We tried a little bit of everything: loco moco fried rice, the 808 Mix plate with the best ribs, and the garlic noodles with garlic shrimp. And also try the Refreshers- we had Mango and Guava Lychee, they tasted like fresh fruit! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Heard about this place that just opened 2 months ago. Went there for lunch and was good enough to go again for dinner. Overall we tried:808 mixed plate (super), chicken garlic noodles. Inihaw pulehu shortribs l, pipikaula ribs plate, ube pancakes, ube sweet coffee, calamansi, coco mango, and mango drink. All of them were flavorful, plenty of grill aroma, tender meats, perfect Mac salad and refreshing drinks. The portions are HUGE! There were 2 misses however, but not enough to knock any points off in my book given the place was insanely busy both times I was there. The misses are the sago in the coco mango has harden. And parts of the ribs were still chewy. They are new, still plenty of time to make improvements. We will be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
