What more can I say, this place is a must stop for everyone, especially if you have a dietary need. All dishes can be made gluten free and lactose free, they have two of everything in the kitchen (fryer, oven, chef) eliminating the risk of cross contamination. Best of all, the food and service was excellent, Maria took care of us throughout our meal and made a big difference answering our questions. 10/10. We were really disappointed with our visit to Mama Eat Roma. I’d read great reviews about their gluten-free options and, as a coeliac, was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The service wasn’t very welcoming — we felt largely overlooked (ignored on arrival) and had to wait quite a while to place our drinks order, and even longer to place our food order. My gluten-free pizza arrived lukewarm and a good half an hour before my partner’s meal, which we had to remind the waiter about as it seemed to have been forgotten. The pizza itself was mixed. The gf crust was tasty, but the base was very thin, soggy, and slightly undercooked. My partner had a standard pizza, which he said was ‘fine’, but nothing special and nowhere near as good as others we’d had during our time in Rome. We were seated near another couple who mentioned they’d had a much better experience a few days earlier, so it may have just been an off evening. However, given it was a Monday night, it was still disappointing. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner
