Panda Garden in Grande Prairie offers a Chinese buffet with decent food and a good atmosphere. Though the place is a bit old, recent renovations have made it look clean and nice. The price range is reasonable compared to other buffet restaurants in town, with drinks included in the price. Happy hour from 2-4pm offers a lesser price. While some dishes were not fresh, the selection of fruits was good. The restaurant has a selection of soft drinks and juices, as well as wine and cocktails. Standout dishes include the sweet and sour pork, chow mein, and fried chicken. The establishment also features a spacious dining area and friendly staff.
Went there last January 7, for a birthday party, food is good, very friendly and attentive staff. My husband and I are very satisfied and we don’t have hurt burns afterwards. The price is good, affordable and the quality of food is good/better.
For sure we’re going to come back
Went first day of opening as Panda Garden, about a month or so ago food was pretty good and fresh . Went 2 more times, food still pretty fresh, but lots of deep fried, a chocolate fountain was added . Went May 11/22 at 3pm. Stirfry brown, wilted and very little left, no fried chicken, pyrogies hard as rocks, lazonia dried up cheese like leather, tray almost empty. dry ribs , egg rolls, sparce and cold. Most of the trays were nearly empty, and what was left looked like it should have been thrown out. After having had previous good food there , this was a big disapointment. Mentioned the horrible food to the " manager server" but she just shrugged it off, her service was poor, too busy on her phone. Will not be going back unless the owner improves the food to what it started out like.
For sure we’re going to come back
