My husband and I went over the weekend and we will definitely be back. The owner was so welcoming and accommodating. There was a salmon dish I wanted that I didn't see on the menu and the owner told me he can make it and he did! My husbands fish was not cooked properly and the owner came over apologized fixed the issue and took $20 off the meal.He went above and beyond and for that he has a repeat customers. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have eaten here several times and it was always good and quick. We were the only people in the restaurant the entire time and it took almost 2 hours. The salsa was gross. Not just unseasoned but taste as though it had spoiled. The prices have doubled and the quality has halfed. They were out of several things, understandable. What we did order wasn’t correct. Beans on a chimichanga and $15 for a cheese dip. Sour cream on someone’s food that’s allergic to milk. Wouldn’t go back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Very disappointed with my recent takeout order from Mamacitas, now under the new management. I live literally 4 minutes away, and both entrées were cold by the time I got home. On top of that, my order was missing the side of beans that was supposed to come with the meal. What also rubbed me the wrong way is being charged an extra percentage fee for ordering online, then being prompted for a tip on a takeout order — which I still gave. I don’t mind tipping for good service, but when the food is cold and the order is incomplete, it feels pretty unreasonable. I tried calling to address the issue, but sat on hold long enough that I eventually gave up. The restaurant wasn’t even busy at the time. I understand there’s new management, but if this is the direction things are going, they’re going to lose customers fast. Attention to basic quality control and customer service matters.
