Edit: I haven't been back to the truck yet after the owner's response, so this may not be an accurate review. Will try again soon! :)
I REALLY wanted to love this truck, but it really missed the mark. My girlfriend and I ordered 2 meals - a medium 2-piece and 3 hot tenders. We ended up with a hot 2-piece and 3 medium tenders. Not a big deal.
However, the chicken itself was massively over- salted, unbearably so. I love salt, have a really high tolerance for salty foods, but I couldn't finish it.
Most importantly, one of the wings was thoroughly raw in the middle. I think I noticed quickly enough, but if I hadn't I may have gotten quite ill.
The fries and hushpuppies were okay, which is why I've chosen 2 stars rather than 1. But for $10 a meal, I shouldn't have to worry about getting raw, inedibly salty chicken.
I really hope this was just an off day. We just moved from the Nashville area, and I had really hoped this place would deliver my "hot chicken fix". As it is now, though, I can't recommend the food to anyone.

The worst experience ever. First, there were several people waiting for their orders, which was fine, because the cook the chicken as u order. While waiting, the gal working inside said shut the "f" up to the guy working with her. Then a customer walked up that she evidently knew and shouted "where the "f" have u been". Music was playing inside the truck. I use the term music loosely. It was loud, rap, "f" was every other word in the "song". The customers started complaining to each other. I walked up to the order window and said something to the lady about this being a place of business and the music was offensive, to please turn it off. Her response was, "ok, I will handle it". She closed the order window, went over to the pickup window, said to some customers waiting that someone complained about her music, I think I'll turn it up, which she did. They had the oil way to hot for the chicken, so it was VERY crispy, almost burned, and not done on the inside. A couple of the girls walked back out to the truck and asked for a refund. The gal said, "I'm getting ready to close this shit anyway". And on it went. Thus gal needs to be fired. I don't think u want someone like that representing Mama's Hot Chicken. Tha property manager gas been alerted and mama's hot chicken is not allowed back, THANK GOODNESS! WORST EVER!
