Mame is a traditional Japanese restaurant with seat at the counter and tables at the 2nd floor. We ordered fried oysters. anchovies tempura, potato salad and as second course japanese pickles and the original Hiroshima signature dish "Okonomiyaki" No tourist here only local diners, so if you look like us for authentic Japanese food this is the right spot!! Each dish was prepared with absolutely care, the taste was amazing and the cooks been so good to us that we have a blast!! Thank you to the staff and guests for making us feel like locals and not tourist!!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥7,000–8,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good food! Which is the most important. I always sitvat the counter, they have English menus and are happily approaching me in English. watching the food made in front of my eyes is relaxing, and even in the midst of summer, the teppan in front of me wasn't too ho! (thanks to strong enough AC. In the winter it is probably warming up the legs of the customs :-) )
