I always felt welcomed in France but not in this place. Maybe because the staff were tired. The place has a nice layout and location though.

This is the worst place to eat, the waitress is very rude and I witnessed her racist rant towards Asians she is what the French call "une Salope". Don't go there, everyone should BOYCOTT this place.

Mammy Gateaux is a small creperie located fairly close to the main entrance of the medieval town, Provins (walk through the entry, down the road, and take a right). It's a bit cramped, but was nice to escape the cool weather outside for lunch. We had 7 people, and they managed to fit us all across two tables next to each other. I ordered the la chèvre crepe, which had a goat cheese spread, cooked ham, honey, and flaked almonds. It was delicious! The honey is very subtle, and definitely doesn't make this crepe too sweet. The meal came with a small salad as well. Some others in our group ordered the fries which were nice and crispy, and cut in an interesting shape. They were hot at first so be careful! My husband had the l'andouille crepe which he enjoyed and would recommend. We also shared a 50cl pitcher of cider which was good, but quite different from some American ciders we have had before. The waitstaff here didn't speak a lot of English, but they were very nice and did not mind that we didn't speak French. I'd recommend this as a nice spot for lunch during your visit to Provins!
