This popular cart noodle shop is always on my HK must eat list. The unbeatable range of good value topping choices and beef brisket broth are guaranteed to satisfy my palate in every visit. This place is very fun and an endless combination of dinners can be created! There are three shops in a row for this place, the first only takes cash. You can queue at any door. We chose to scan the QR code at the door as it was easy to read the menu in English that way! We actually pre-selected what we wanted at home and then when we got a seat we scanned the seat code to order and pay via the app (card, Alipay etc). You have to select: Type of noodle Toppings (up to 10, at least 2) Sauce Soup base Drinks We didn’t have to wait that long for it to arrive! Both our dishes were delicious. I had picked: thick noodles, tofu puffs, spicy bamboo, watercress, crab balls and enoki mushrooms in clear broth. I had also added some other toppings but I realised they had forgotten to add them and didn’t tell me, did they run out? My companion picked: thin noodles, beef brisket, chive dumplings, shiitake mushrooms, spicy bamboo, fish balls and an egg, with beef broth. There are lots of condiments available on the tables so if you haven’t added enough flavour to your broth you can add as much chilli, vinegar etc as you like. Lots of interesting drinks available too. Atmosphere was quiet/peaceful, and the service was quick. I realised it should have selected a half portion of noodles as I think it was maybe a little too big in size for me.
