Manalisou is a quaint cafe nestled in the city of Ikeda, situated on Higashiyamacho. Tucked away from the bustling city streets, this café offers a cozy and casual atmosphere inside a charming traditional Japanese countryside home. Manalisou offers a limited menu selection, primarily serving one highlighted daily lunch option, a simple child’s lunch set with onigiri and side dishes, and an assortment of drinks including coffee, tea, and juices.
The cafe is particularly known for its great coffee, making it an ideal spot for solo diners or a quick lunch. Guests can choose between tatami or table seating arrangements. While it provides services like takeout and dine-in, it doesn't offer delivery. Note that Manalisou operates on a limited schedule, specifically only on Thursdays and Fridays from late morning to early afternoon, and remains closed other days; however, exact hours may vary as no current information is provided by the owners.
Visitors have positively noted the friendly ambiance and delicious food, although some have remarked on the prices. Keep in mind accessibility might be limited due to the absence of wheelchair accessible entrances or parking facilities. The venue accepts Rakuten Pay, and offers amenities like restrooms. Currently, little information about this cafe exists on popular restaurant directories beyond a minimal profile on Google, highlighting the quiet allure of this hidden gem.

Friendly local place hidden off the beaten path. Open 11:00-15:00 (last order 14:00) on Thursdays and Fridays. Menu consists of one daily lunch (on my visit a coconut chicken curry with seasonal side dishes - all delicious), one child’s set lunch of 2 onigiri and 2 sides, and a variety of teas/coffee/soda/juice. In a lovely traditional Japanese countryside home. Tatami and table seating. A few parking spaces on-site. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
