Walked in the door at 12:00. Sat down then right behind us 5 guys come in sit down at the table beside us. They got their drink order in and drinks before we had a chance to order ours. By the time my wife and I got our drinks the other table is eating. We had just ordered by then and after two people saying let me check on your order we get our food at 12:50. The other group has eaten and paid and gone. The catfish was off flavor and not cooked enough. I know what you’re thinking that he doesn’t know what is on flavor and not. Your wrong I grew up building catfish ponds and I mean 100’s of them I know catfish. My wife left half of her chicken fried steak sandwich. I did not comment on the way out simply not to be rude. Now after careful consideration I am posting this. We were passing through and I think they take care of their locals first and if they have time will eventually get to you. Go back? Very nice cafe. Went to a BBQ place we found on GMaps, looked sketch, drove back and found Poinsett Cafe. Fish and shrimp were done very good, some of the best Hushpuppies I've had in a long while. We try and eat at somewhere we've never been, and this one's a winner Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
