Mangia E Bevi is an absolute gem for Italian cuisine! Every dish we tried was a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor. The calamari was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired with a zesty dipping sauce that elevated it to the next level. The pear and blue cheese tart was a delightful surprise, striking a perfect balance between the sweetness of the pear and the tangy, creamy richness of the blue cheese. It was beautifully presented and an absolute must-try for anyone visiting. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly, adding to an already wonderful dining experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Blown away by the food and service. I’ve lived in West Van for the majority of my life and today was my first time. And I will be back again and again. Calamari fritti was fresh, light and airy and came pretty quickly. The focaccia was so soft and chewy and supple, we ended up ordering a second serving (it’s small, only 4 slices, so we didn’t feel too guilty). Pasta was fresh (we ordered the veal meatballs and the sauce had bone marrow in it and the shaved tenderloin pasta dish) and offerings were unique to what were typically used to at an Italian restaurant. Service was top notch. Tables cloths and cloth napkins kind of place — anyone under age 49 there I’d consider to be young :) Will be back! The dishes we ordered were blowing minds away. For the starters, the mussels and raw beef were so tender and juicy. For entrees, we ordered lamb, cod, pasta that are all well cooked and delicious. We ordered pudding for dessert which is also outstanding. The service was perfect! This one is such a gem in West Van. We often go to Beach House. To be honest, the dishes here are beyond my imagination. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
