I booked this restaurant through TheFork and received a 30% discount on the food, so I recommend checking TheFork before visiting. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dinner. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. In particular, the Risotto alla Crema di Scampi was the best risotto I had during my entire trip to Italy. I would definitely recommend trying it. There was, however, one thing that made me feel a little uncomfortable. During my trip around Italy, including visits to several restaurants, I had never once been directly asked to leave a tip. This was the only restaurant where I was specifically asked to choose a tip amount when paying, so I was a little surprised and caught off guard. I am Korean, and tipping is not part of the culture in Korea. The same is generally true in many East Asian countries, including Japan and China. When a customer is directly asked to select a tip amount face-to-face during payment, it can feel difficult or awkward to decline, even if tipping is supposed to be optional. I understand that tipping may be customary for guests from countries such as the United States or Canada, but I would suggest taking cultural differences into consideration rather than directly asking East Asian customers for a tip. Korean customers in particular are generally not accustomed to tipping and may feel uncomfortable when directly asked to do so. Apart from this issue, everything else was very good. The staff were kind, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a very nice place to have dinner in Rome, and I would still recommend it.
