Terrible experience at Manna Korean BBQ & Shabu. After waiting over 30 minutes, we were told they couldn't accommodate our group of 8 at a single table for both BBQ and Shabu. Instead, we were split into two 4-person tables, yet they still charged an automatic 18-20% tip. The customer service was awful—one server refused to let us order Tofu Soup because we already had Shabu soup, claiming it was “too much food” and warning us we’d have to pay extra if we didn’t finish. On top of that, we waited 30-45 minutes for Tofu Soup and steamed eggs, and they were out of cucumber salad. The meat and soup weren’t good at all—maybe it felt worse because of the bad service, but the quality seemed low. To top it off, we were charged $360 for 7 adults and a 5-year-old child, who cost $20! The whole experience was frustrating, overpriced, and poorly managed. Long story short: DO NOT COME HERE. The service is terrible. The owner reads reviews and claims they’ll “look into it,” but nothing changes. I came on Christmas with my family to celebrate Christmas and my birthday. I called at 11:30am to reserve a table for 9 at 12pm, and the receptionist confirmed. My sister arrived first and mentioned the reservation, but the receptionist claimed it was for 12 and refused to seat us until everyone arrived. I got there at 12:05pm and clarified the reservation was for 9, but they ignored me and seated others first. We weren’t seated until 12:15pm. Once seated, we ordered our first round of meat. It came out quickly, but nothing else arrived for 20+ minutes. Servers kept saying the food was “on the way,” but it never came. After 10min, they finally admitted they ran out of plates, despite plenty being available at the buffet. The delays were so bad that other tables left before finishing their meals, visibly upset. The staff’s lack of organization and care ruined our celebration. While the food was good, the service was HORRIBLE. To make it worse, gratuity was automatically included because of our party size.
