Ate here several times. Both downstairs and upstairs. I like the fries and kibbeling a lot. It's served hot with plenty of sauce and the portion is huge. The only complaint is that service is so slow! 20 minute wait for fries and kibbeling. Also the place is so dirty. The staff should really clean the floor and tables more often. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Fries are delicious, that's not the problem. What I found seriously disappointing was that we waited 23+ minutes for our fries (the time of the order was stated on the receipt, so I'm not exaggerating). I ordered two fries. How difficult is that? Well! That's difficult if people who came after you are helped earlier. After 15 minutes I thought, I'm going to check if it went well. The boy I spoke to looked and saw that we would be helped at any moment. Our order was then postponed again (I saw that in the receipt row and the trays where our order was skipped. I had to speak to him twice (as if I really felt like doing that...). He looked at me unamused. I understand that you find it annoying, but then be angry with the work system of you and your team. In the end I had to take the fries with me because we didn't have time to eat them in peace. And I was so naive to think that this would be the fastest meal not so I had to give the food to my girlfriend in the wheelchair without her being able to eat any of it, because we almost missed her special taxi due to this enormous delay. You couldn't expect an apology from the Manneken Pis Leidschendam employee anyway. I usually like the reviews. If I had the time I would have checked it out and skipped this place. I'm much more used to it in Amsterdam, where there are huge queues of tourists every day. Sharing knowledge between branches would be worth gold here.
