Loved this place!! Very friendly and accommodating. The owner has a singular vision and it shows through the atmosphere and decor. It’s a living work of art dedicated to a memory of an anime. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Golden Rule of Dining & Drinking in Japan: When you encountered a good restaurant, thank the staff/chef for great food and ask which bar to go next for the next round. This is something I started doing as I travel solo but this hasn't failed so far. In Tenmonkan - the urban food/cultural central of Kagoshima prefecture, after a long/heated discussions among the staff, the answer was "Manosu". I ordered a short and then a long cocktail leaving it to bartender's recommendation after telling him some preferences. Both of them were so good with seasonal fruits with pleasant and strong presence of spirits like gin and vodka. Very friendly bartender and if you like cats, I am sure you won't regret it. Please find out why by yourself. (I only gave 4 stars, not 5, just because I don't know how much these cocktails were.. :p )
